Main author
Prof. Stephen Bazire is Chief Pharmacist for Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Honorary Professor for the School of Pharmacy at University of East Anglia, author of the Psychotropic Drug Directory (20 editions since 1993), Fellow of Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, ex-Chairman and still committee member of the UK Psychiatric Pharmacy Group, melodeon player, railway enthusiast and downtrodden Norwich City season ticket holder.
C&M boss
Dawn Price is Head of Clinical Pharmacy, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear Mental Health Trust, based at St George's Park Hospital in Morpeth, having been Acting Chief Pharmacist for Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust 2008-9. She is a registered independent prescriber and management guru, as well as Vice Chairman of the UK Psychiatric Pharmacy Group, heavy metal, motor cycle and F1 fan.
Special advisor
Mick Collins is the Daddy of the project, having been seconded to NIMHE from Janssen-Cilag for 2 years. He is a registered mental health nurse and now acts as advisor to the project, as well as being a Nottingham Forest season ticket holder. If there's anything wrong, don't blame him; he's just the singer in a rock and roll band.
IT boffins and techno-advisors
Rowan Purdy is responsible for the technical development. He has been involved with the project from the start when he worked for NIMHE/CSIP. He now supports the project as the Director of Surepoint. Rowan is ably supported by the technical wizardry of Dan Donald (Here in the Hive). The rest of us have no idea what they are on about most of the time but it all seems to work so we're more than happy with that.
Advisory board
Members of the Service User Council from Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
