Sertindole was commonly known by the brand name Serdolect®. It is one of a group of medicines called antipsychotics or neuroleptics. These are usually used to help treat illnesses or conditions such as psychosis, schizophrenia and hypomania.

Sertindole is no longer routinely available in the UK.
